Bill Hemmig has twice been named a finalist, for fiction and flash fiction, in the New Millennium Writing Awards and he is about to be published for the second time in the online journal Children, Churches & Daddies. Previous to taking on fiction writing, he was the author of eight plays that were produced Off-Off-Broadway and regionally. He lived in New Jersey for 23 years and only recently moved to Pennsylvania to be closer to his job, where he is Dean of Learning Resources & Online Learning at Bucks County Community College.
