Bristol, PA – The public is invited to attend Stargazing: How to View the Night Sky at 6:30 pm on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at the Margaret R. Grundy Memorial Library, 680 Radcliffe Street, when members of the Bucks-Mont Astronomical Association (BMAA) will be on hand to show participants how to use association telescopes and binoculars to view the night sky. Do you have your own personal telescope or binoculars? You are welcome to bring them to the event. This presentation is part of the NASA @ My Library education initiative to promote STEM learning opportunities throughout the nation. As one of seventy-five U.S. public libraries selected through a competitive application process to become a NASA @ My Library Partner, the Library has received resources, training and support to lead STEM educational events in the community. The Bucks-Mont Astronomical Association is a group of amateur astronomers working together to improve astronomical knowledge and appreciation as well as observational and astrophotography skills. BMAA members are a varied group of individuals who share a curiosity about the sky who make themselves and their stargazing instruments available to promote public interest in astronomy.
