Professors Margaret Montet and Stephen doCarmo (pictured) are ready to embark on an amazing journey leading the Information Literacy Institute during Spring Break, but they’re still seeking faculty to take the journey with them, and the application deadline is tomorrow (Feb. 25)!
The Information Literacy Institute is designed for full- and part-time Bucks faculty who plan to integrate information-literacy instruction into their courses and assignments. It is especially suited to faculty members who teach a course for which information literacy is a core-curriculum requirement. The Institute will provide participants with an understanding of information literacy. Participants will engage in activities that will introduce and offer hands-on experience in integrating information literacy into their courses. Participants will also design and assess student information-literacy assignments.
